Meet Student Organization: ΛΠΧ

Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. was founded on April 16, 1988 at Cornell University, becoming the first Latina Sorority founded at an Ivy League University. Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. provides a lifetime network of Hermanas dedicated to empowering themselves and their communities. Hermanas across the nation and around the world personify our ideals of la Hermandad, la Comunidad, and la Cultura Latina.

Our Hermandad is further advanced by our shared dedication and promotion of public service and cultural awareness, with an emphasis on Latino history, contributions, and experiences. Even though Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc. is Latina-focused, it is not Latina-exclusive.
