CLC Celebrates the Creation of The Latinx Leadership Alliance

On Friday, September 3rd, 2021, the Carolina Latinx Center hosted its first meeting for the newly formed Latinx Leadership Alliance, consisting of representatives from five student organizations united under a common mission to uplift the Latinx community at UNC-Chapel Hill. The Alliance centers itself around the virtues of mutual support, belonging, and visibility for its members and the greater community as an organized body of student leaders; serving as a resource and open space for all Latinx-serving student organizations to more effectively collaborate and create an impact on campus. Among the semester goals of this initiative, the Alliance looks forward to developing a co-created travel guide for students in the Chapel Hill/Durham area providing student-recommended locations for everyday life needs.
