Maria Fernanda (she/her/hers/ella) is a sophomore studying Media and Journalism. She is the Marketing Intern at the Carolina Latinx Center. Originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, Maria Fernanda is Mexican-American with roots in Oaxaca, Mexico. This year, she hopes to make an impact and support the visibility of Latinx voices in media.
