Nathan Vara is a second-year pursuing a career in nursing. He was raised in Raleigh, NC with roots in Puebla, Mexico. He is passionate about bridging gaps between first-generation Latinx students as he is one himself. This year he is excited to be serving as the Pulso Scholars Student Ambassador, where he hopes to promote opportunities and resources for Carolina students interested in the medical field.
